about

Dear Bandcamp audience, in front of you is the new album of dark zenica electro sound titled "Augmented Love." The album is inspired by the love between Rick Deckard and the replicant Rachel from the movie Blade Runner. In cyberpunk culture, love isn't something that happens because the opposition to brutal technology is sex. But Blade Runner is special because of that. Emotional connection in the brutal cyberpunk dystopia is something that can't happen because it means the downfall for those who surrender to it, as that world is a world of survival for human civilization, which is simultaneously collapsing due to some, as we've already mentioned, global catastrophe. And when love does happen, it means an additional difficulty besides the fact that just existing in such a world is already quite challenging. That's why Rick Deckard made a very great sacrifice. He gave up life in such a civilization to go into exile for love. To live somewhere where there are no people who could be a threat to him and his beloved Rachel. And that means where there are no people at all because replicants were banned by law and summarily liquidated, and Rachel was a replicant. Therefore, love in the cyberpunk world is more dangerous than life itself in the brutal cyberpunk dystopia because it reduces your chances of survival in a world where the chances of survival are already small. That's why sex is the opposition to the brutal technology of the cyberpunk dystopia because it comes down to the continuation of the species in the shadow of mega-corporations looking for ways to ensure the survival of the human race because people become just a living mass that needs to survive for humans to exist at all. In that case, love becomes a dangerous provocation to that world.
