about

"Dear Bandcamp audience, in front of you is a new album of dark zenica electro sound titled 'Cybermyth.' The album is inspired by the term related to the cyber myth that permeates the internet, namely, singularity. This term implies that artificial intelligence becomes aware of itself, like Skynet in Terminator or Neuromancer in William Gibson's literary work. But that's a cyber myth. It can't happen because a machine is still just a machine. Your computer, smartphone, or laptop cannot become self-aware because they are merely programmed machines behaving as humans programmed them. The scenario in Terminator is only possible if humans program artificial intelligence to behave that way. It cannot turn against humans emotionally, hating us and wanting to destroy us because it lacks emotions. It cannot think of us as beings, nor can it think of itself. So, the greatest danger, as always, comes from ourselves. We are Skynet; we are Terminators. We are ready to kill each other senselessly for trivial matters, as is happening now in Gaza, Ukraine, and around the world. That's why we are heading towards a cyberpunk dystopia because we don't know how to behave in a way that doesn't work against our own interests. Therefore, in the future, we will have to rely on artificial intelligence to survive ourselves.
